What is a Lake Management District? A lake district
is a special purpose
unit of government who's purpose is to maintain, protect and
improve the quality of a lake and its watershed for the mutual
good of the members and
the lake environment.
Who is in the
boundaries usually include the property of all
and can include off-lake property that benefits from the lake
affects the lake's watershed.

Is there an annual meeting? Yes, there is an
annual meeting each summer. Notice of the meeting is
printed in the local newspaper and is mailed to property
owners. Meeting information will be posted on the
